We offer a range of riding lesson to suit all levels of riders, from complete beginners, right up to experienced riders. So whether you have never ridden before and want to learn or are looking to brush up your skills, we can help!
Our focus is on creating confident, capable riders who understand how to ride horses kindly and effectively to create a good relationship between them and the horse.
1 on 1 coaching
We offer private 1 on 1 riding lessons, with a team of skilled and experienced instructors. This individual approach allows us to provide a more tailored lessons to suit your individual needs helping riders to progress quicker.
All lessons are 30 min long, as in our experience, when riding correctly (using your body and carrying yourself well) most people are getting tied and are less effective by the end of their lesson.
Private lessons start from 5 years and over and follow a complete and rigorous training scale to ensure you build up from a solid foundation to progress your skills in a safe and positive way within a supportive and friendly environment.
Top of the range facilities
We have a large outdoor arena as well as the only indoor arena in North Perth, meaning riding really is an all weather sport.
We also have a range of jumps and equipment to ensure you are getting the best training and the most out of your lessons.
We run lessons on a Wednesday and Thursday, morning and evening as well as Saturday and Sunday Mornings.
We offer lessons on a termly basis as well as casual lessons with no tie ins.

For those that are not able to commit to the full term of lessons we offer casual lessons. These can be booked online and every Friday we release casual spots for the following week.
Please note that these must be paid for at the time of booking. For these lessons students don't have a choice of instructor.
Our lessons are designed to work with students to progress their ridden skills over time. This is shown in the training scale below
Students can track their progress on our training scale, which all our coaches work through with students.
We try to be open and transparent so students can understand their their progress. We believe in students riding different horses, to ensure they are able to transfer the skills they are learning.
Not all horses are equal, some horses are great at plodding around, perfect for beginners learning the basics, others are more responsive and require students to give clear, concise instructions.
As students develop and progress they will be moved onto more difficult horses. It may at first look like they are taking a step back, but we can assure they are progressing onto the next stage of their riding.
How we allocate and categories our horses
Our horses are categorized into a number of different groups. Students may find when they progress from one category to the next, that they need to go back to fine tune some of the basics as the more advanced horses require more precision & finesse.
Sometimes parents worry that their child has taken a step back, we can assure you that this is not the case, they are simply progressing in their riding to the point they can ride a number of different horses.
Level 1 - Beginner horse – These are very safe, calm and reliable horses that are not too reactive and allow students to build confidence and fine tune their skills. They are very tolerant and not reactive.
Level 2 - Intermediate horse – These horse require riders to be able to ride independently, give clear aids and direction. They will not just walk or trot around without the rider demonstrating proper riding skills.
Level 3 - Experienced horse – require riders to be able to ride with an independent seat and selfcarriage. These horses require clear, calm and quiet aids and can respond to riders that are off balance and heavy handed. If you have any concerns with the progression of your riding, please don’t hesitate to speak to the office and our head coach can contact you to discuss. There may be 1 area holding you back and we can recommend some exercises you can practice at home to help you master this skill.
Your safety is of upmost importance to us. Horse riding can be a dangerous spots, therefor we try to ensure that you develop your skills correctly.
Text any queries or booking requests and we will reply as soon as we are back in the office!
Please note our office is only open Wed/ Thur/ Sat and Sun. We will respond to your messages during these days and times.
